On our way from St. John's to Terra Nova National Park, we took some byways, and went through some little fishing villages, including Brigus and the entertainingly-named Cupids. (Newfoundland in general has the most wonderful names, such as the trio of Hearts Delight, Heart's Desire, and Heart's Content, and the village of Dildo.) It was somewhat rainy, and we were anxious to be on our way, so we didn't see all of even the few attractions on offer.
