Bages

Bages is a small village overlooking a lagoon from its rocky spur. Local legend has it that Bages was a pirate center. At any rate, it's quite fortified on the land side.

A view of the village across the lagoon. And a view of the lagoon from the village. Narrow streets and old houses. A little bar/restaurant.
A sundial gate. (The time was about an hour off, probably due to daylight-savings.) Marvelous colors of mango and periwinkle in the bright sunshine. Windows. Chantal and Isabel resting.
Grandma José and Chantal watching the kids eat their popsicles.
Benjamin washing his hands in the fountain. (Is that a platypus on the fountain?)
